Our Fiber Mill's Processing Forms
Please call the fiber mill if you have questions. We will be happy to provide help on the forms. Please fill out the customer information once and the bag inserts for each bag sent.
MILL SERVICES & Price List.
Processing
Prices are for incoming weight. Less than 2 lbs. per total order will be charged a $25 set-up fee. Fleeces less than 1 lb. will be charged a 1 lb. minimum.
Extra Washes/Rinses
Our washing process consists of a pre-soak, then a complete wash/rinse cycle. To ensure the fiber is clean, we perform a test to determine if additional wash/rinse is required.
Fiber Separating /Dehairing
Price includes tumbling, washing, picking, and two consecutive passes through the separator.
Carding to Roving or Batts
Price includes tumbling, washing, picking, and fiber separating. For striped or other speciality roving, add $2.50/lb.
Spinning for Yarn
Prices are for incoming weight. For speciality yarns, add $3.50/lb.
